Sciton’s newest BBL Heroic machine is utilized at BodyMD to treat a wide variety of skin concerns. Our Master Laser Technicians use the BBL Heroic machine to treat the face, neck, and body to clear up skin pigment, minimize vessels, reverse signs of aging, address acne breakouts, tighten loose skin, and reduce unwanted hair.
BBL Photofacial Process
At BodyMD, each client is given a personalized treatment plan that is as unique as their skin. Licensed Advanced Laser
Technicians will assess and prep the skin to begin each appointment, and then a topical numbing is applied for more comfortability. The treatment is described as a snapping sensation on the skin, and is typically a very brief sensation. The device has several customization options
to give each client optimal results.
Post-treatment skin must be protected from sun exposure for up to 5 days, and gentle products used. Results take about 7 days, and multiple treatments are recommended for the best,
long-lasting results.
Sciton Moxi Laser
The Sciton Moxi Laser is an non-ablative laser with little-to-no downtime and minimal discomfort. At BodyMD, Advanced Laser Technicians use the Sciton Moxi Laser to treat all skin types for uneven texture, hyperpigmentation and general anti-aging.
Moxi Laser for Skin Resurfacing
Sciton Moxi Laser comfortably delivers non-ablative laser energy to correct the initial signs of sun damage and aging by triggering the skin’s natural healing response, resulting in refreshed, and rejuvenated skin. Moxi Laser Process
The Moxi Laser offers a light skin resurfacing option ideal for treating pigmentation, sun damage, uneven skin tone, signs of aging, and skin texture. After consultation and preparation by one of our Certified Laser Technicians, you can expect a quick, and tolerable experience, with three different levels of treatment to customize to each client. Afterwards, the downtime is a week or less, with only 1-2 days of redness and swelling, followed by a crusty, sandpaper texture to the skin which gives way to a smooth, glowing and radiant complexion.

saving both time and money. Both the Moxi Laser
and IPL/BBL Photofacial treatments together can
target multiple areas of the skin and lead to even
more successful results even faster.
Moxi/BBL Process
The session is about 60 minutes long, and
includes skin assessment, cleansing and
preparation, topical numbing for patient
comfort and then the application of both IPL
Photofacial light therapy, followed by
application of the Moxi Laser.
Downtime from the two treatments can be
condensed and will take about 7 days for the
skin to reveal the final results of glowing,
firm, and clear skin.
