FDA-Cleared Microneedling Process
SkinStylus is FDA-cleared for use on the face and the abdomen to improve the appearance of facial acne scars, and traumatic or surgical scars on the body. Microneedling is the process of creating controlled micro-injuries in the skin’s surface for the purpose of collagen stimulation. The skin’s natural wound healing process stimulates collagen and elastin production, resulting in visible improvement of texture, tone and elasticity of the skin for a rejuvenated appearance.
The treatment is minimally invasive, with minimal downtime. The treatment process includes skin prep and consultation, followed by a topical numbing application for a more pleasant experience. The SkinStylus Microneedling pen will be applied to the skin by an Advanced Medical Aesthetician. Most clients find Microneedling treatments extremely tolerable, and the treatment time is about 1 hour long. Immediately following the treatment, the skin may be slightly red and/or swollen, and this typically subsides within 1-2 days.

Chemical Peels
Chemical Peels at BodyMD vary in strength and target, but all peels offer incredible results by shedding the dead skin, killing bacteria, and brightening the skin tone. These chemical peels are applied by a Licensed Medical Aesthetician, and each client is provided with proper at home care instructions post treatment.
Chemical Peels are quick treatments, usually only taking about 30 minutes for the appointment time. The downtime includes up to a week of varying degrees of peeling and flaking as the dead skin cells are refreshed with brand new skin cells. It is important to be gentle when handling the skin post-treatment by refraining from picking or peeling the skin, as well as using gentle post-procedure products.

SkinMedica Illuminize Peel: Rejuvenates the skin using alpha-hydroxy acids which provides radiant and vibrant skin. This non-invasive chemical peel is minimal on the downtime, with most clients experiencing a small amount of flaking. This chemical peel can be done on it’s own, or as an add-on to other treatments like Microneedling.
ZO Stimulator Peel
Includes glycolic acid and lactic acid to improve skin
texture and ton through accelerating epidermal exfoliation and renewal.
This chemical peel is a great add-on to an exfoliating facial to enhance the skin’s glowing result.
Mermaid Facial
BodyMD’s custom Mermaid Facial utilizes the powerful ingredients of PDRN Salmon DNA and
achieves the optimal skin delivery and absorption through Microneedling. Also known as the “Salmon
Sperm Facial”, this fabulous facial will leave your skin glowing like the ocean. This skin transformation
starts off with dermaplaning for a smooth surface that allows for equal absorption of products.

way to set up the skin for future treatments like microneedling or lasers.
Break-outs are cleared gently with a relaxing steam and mild scrub, allowing the skin to breathe
and soak up anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial products, preventing future break-outs.
ZO Facial
This exfoliation facial helps to clear away dull and dry skin for a renewed and refined complexion. Using ZO skincare products, this brightening facial will reveal a smoother and tighter skin as a result. Includes dermaplane and a light chemical peel for ultimate skin renewal.
As the top layer of the skin is exfoliated away, newer,
younger cells are revelead which both appear smoother, and absorb the ZO skincare products even better.
HydraFacial
The Hydrafacial is the facial that brings skin back to life through deep cleansing and hydration. As the pores are cleared, The HydraFacial serums are infused into the skin, refreshing elasticity of the skin.
